Backup messagess

Hi Folks am looking for some help with an App not sure if i have posted it in the correct place either. I own the HTC Desire HD and have had to return it on many occasions or reset it which deletes all my text messages is there an app i could install and retrievie it at a later date if i have to reset the phone again ?? SMS Backup & Restore is what i used earlier but when i removed the app from the phone and reinstalled it i lost all my messages devastated :-(

Oops also forgot to ask can you not just backup message folders or does it back up every single message ?? I did try take a look but coulsd not see an option to backup certain conversations only.

It backs up every message as you send.it or receive it.

Right just backed up all the messages on phone the whole 2300 messages went to open the gmail account and i only have 30 messages shown ?

Sms backup + works really fine.
Check the settings before backup. once you set it correctly it does the backup perfectly.

Connectivity problem can cause the backup to abort and you will not see all the msgs in the gmail account.

Hi folks still only showing around 30 messages on gmail on pc instead of the 3000 odd i have , can someone tell me what im doing wrong please ??
