Help Backup & Restore App

I'm getting a replacement handset tomorrow.

I'm a massive advocate of root, but weighing up everything I use root for & the length of time II'll be using it before my upgrade, I'm probably not going to root it.

I do want to backup all my current apps etc though so rather than use Titanium/Helium, I'm just using the built in Backup & Restore app.

Has anyone used it to backup apps/data on one handset and transfer to another? Is it flawless or a pain in the proverbials?

Confirmed, it works near perfectly.

Nova & swiftkey didn't backup (although Nova Prime did) & it did settings/ringtone assignments etc too.

It didn't take some of my custom EQ's either, but I can easily mess around and get those to my liking again.

I see the "not going to root" didn't last long
I always think I will try and hold off on rooting in case I break it...doesn't take long before I give up and go for it.
