Backup/Restore what google doesn't?

If I select both "Back up my data" and "Automatic restore" under Settings->Privacy and then do a wipe, I seem to get most but not all of my stuff back. Items missing (I think) are:
- Call log
- Text message history
- Manually installed apps
- Some system settings
- Others?

Is there an app, that with little or no config, will just backup and restore what isn't covered by the settings mentioned above?
 
Yeah, Ti does everything I need. I was just hoping for something simple that would easily back up ONLY the items I needed.
 
Titanium backup didn't work for me for some reason. I found another app called mybackup, that one worked really well. Really simple to use, but you have to buy it to use it for longer than a month.
 
FYI,
Ti does require a rooted phone I think (at least, mine is, plus I've registered my copy of Ti, and it's positively flying).

For SMS, I recommend SMS Backup & Restore, it's simple yet sufficient and very quick. However, there are other apps that also back up your call log.

Of course, I must also mention the option of installing a custom recovery rom, such as ClockworkMod or Amon Ra (do a search in the rom/root subforums) and use "Nandroid" to make a complete backup that can restore your device almost no matter what you do to it.
 
I think Ti requires root for at least some of what it does. I am rooted so I'm not sure.

Unless I misunderstand nandroid, it will backup/restore everything including apps and the android system. That's exactly what I don't want. I want to:
- Run some app that does a backup
- wipe my device and install a custom rom
- sign in and let my google account reinstall apps and whatever else it does
- Run an app that will only restore the settings, history, etc that weren't just restored by google

Ti actually does that pretty well, so maybe that's as good as it gets.
 
google doesn't backup app data. really not much value on just getting apps back without the data.

Titanium is the best option.
 
MyBackup will backup all of these items.

Also to let you guys know, we have just released "MyBackup Root", which is a FREE download from the Android Market. It is for root phones only, and it will BATCH BACKUP AND RESTORE all applications, including the Data\Settings and Market Links! You are also allowed to schedule backups. All FREE.
