Backup to Dropbox question

Hi all,

I'm interested in finding an app that will do Cloud Backup and Restore, ideally making use of DropBox. The app should be non-root, or non-rooted....Whatever the right phrase is! Can anyone recommend?

One further requirement is that the app should also be able to backup apps and app data...

For reason stated above we are not able to use Titanium Backup Pro because it's rooted. So, ideally looking for something that will work on a non-rooted basis.

Helium is an app. I've been using ClickFree, which it backs up your apk apps and data. I can't use Helium because it's not available for my phone but does work with my Galaxy Tab 2.

Dropsync pro allows you to sync multiple folders on your phone to Dropbox.

Foldersync is another good one. It's slower than Dropsync but it syncs with all the popular cloud storage services (Dropbox, Box, Copy, sugarsync)

Rom toolbox you can backup app data and also system app data . Move the zipfile to the external sd and when you want you can upload all the apk or single one at a time

Doesn't that require root? The OP said he is non-rooted.

JS Backup doesn't back up app data, does it?
Yes it does. The item indicated as "System" (below) represents app data. Each item may be individually selected or deselected in a backup.

Have you tested this? I just installed JS Backup, backed up system settings, uninstalled Angry Birds Star Wars 2, re-installed Angry Birds Star Wars 2, restored system settings and my game progress wasn't restored. It was like I was starting over in the game.

Before I did all of this I backed up the app with Helium. After restoring the app data with Helium, I was back to where I was in the game. As far as I know Helium is the ONLY app in Google Play that allows non-root users to backup app data.
