Hi all

I want to make a complete backup of my samsung galaxy s advance (still running gingerbread, but jelly bean is already rolled out in a lot of countries).

I was thinking about buying Mybackup pro, but now i saw that it does not backup appdata and setting. And this is just the main reason why I want a backup. I got lots of games and apps I use daily for my study, so losing all this precious data for factory resetting is just a no-go for me. For example 'rayman jungle run' has these extremely hard end levels where it took me hours to complete it, thats just a shame to lose.

I wanted to try helium (carbon backup, but they had to change their name), but it is not compatible with my device.

The reason why I want to do a factory reset is because my phone is starting to lag when I quit an app, something it didn't do before. Like every 5 times I quit an app it show my homescreen without apps, clock and weather widget and they start comming back slowely one for one (it takes like 7-8 seconds to load). I tried removing some apps, rebooting phone and removing widgets, but it doenst help.

Also having a backup would be awesome for when I will update my phone to jelly bean.

Thnx :)

Use Helium

It is not compatible with my device, I have send an email to the developer. Maybe they can give an apk or something?

Does helium also back up app data and setting?

EDIT:

The developer mailed me back and says that it only works with android 4.0 and above.
