Backups / Factory Reset

I did a factory reset after upgrading to ICS. It was pretty simple because all my contacts are either on google or on the exchange server so I didn't have to back up anything. All my photos are stored on the SD card so I didn't have to back up anything there either. I just wiped it and then started reinstalling apps from google play that were already installed or purchased. Of course I would lose some game data and things like that, but I didn't really care. I am just wondering if there is an easier way to do this, perhaps being able to install all the apps at once rather than going through one by one, or being able to save data on games or anything else that doesnt not allow you to export it. If not, it's not that big of a deal. I am not rooted. JB is working fine, just a little lag so I thought I would try this. Besides, it gives me a change to clean things up.

Hello dm88. The Backup and Restore feature takes care of it all, even the screen settings etc. Was that in your ICS menu on the Razr?

Welcome to Android Forums.

After you did the Factory Data Reset did you have the problem before you restored everything?

Are you on Jelly Bean? If you are you could try running in Safe Mode (disabling all apps without uninstalling them) and if the problem disappears it was caused by an app you added.
