Help Backups Restore

Okay somebody please help me.
I recently had to get a new phone just a cheap TCL for now because my Samsung was like completely done with. Okay so I am wondering how to restore ALL of my backed up messages saved in my cloud backup. (Not just my most recent backup). To my TCL. Someone please help?

It depends entirely on what you used to make the backup. All that "cloud backup" tells us is that it's in someone else's server, but what matters is what application made the backup.

cm backup app? never heard of it. are you saying you cannot login to the app? why not? error? what phone do you have? you should have saved your contacts via google, so that when you sign back in they would have been there ready to go for you.
