Why is this impossible to do on this phone? Is it just because not a lot of people have them (less programming support) or is there something in the phone (software/hardware) preventing this from happening?

Obviously Im stuck in the 2.3.3 boat and a week after I bought this phone. I really want to delete majority of the apps on the phone that I will never use.

I am no expert, but.....

On my original Motorola Droid the phone had a method of starting the phone in "bootloader" mode allowing you to overwrite the operating system with a different one, newer, older, or modified.

This phone has no such feature.

The only way to write a new operating system to it is for Innopath to send one OTA (Over-The-Air).

Will someone find a way to force a new OS to the phone in the future? Maybe.
We can only wait and see.
