Help Bad Connection since last Thursday, anyone else?

Ok, I've had the Triumph since it came out and I know that it doesn't have wonderful connection, however, something is oddly amiss. I came out of the movies on last Thursday and my phone had run out of juice. When I got it charged up again I've noticed that my connection bars are drastically worse. I used to have maybe 2 bars of 3g, now I'm looking at one bar of 1x. It will change and I can sometimes see a few bars of 3g depending on where I am, but as a whole, lots less.

This is in Brooklyn, NYC, and just wondering if anyone else has noticed. I have tried switching the PRL to the original, to 01120, and a couple others I have but they don't seem to be helping much either. A friend of mine in Boston with an Optimus V has also been having some issues with her phone, but not sure they are related obviously.

My Triumph also started doing the same thing on saturday going from (3g to 1x) it eventually went back to normal after a few battery pulls and reboots.But my wife's & my son's Optimus V's are now doing it none stop,Reboots and battery pulls are not helping at all.I'm also in NYC "Manhattan".
