bad web browsing battery life?

hey guys my 7.7 (wifi only) has got pretty bad battery life on browsing.
if i use dolphin or stock i get only 3 mins for 1%
if i use opera mobile i can get about 4-5 mins but i found opera not as fast as the other two.

brightness is 0-10% (as i found the tab to be very bright even on 0 lol), flash is click to play, and i have restore the tab twice, only 'simple text' widget and using adw ex pro launcher. watching video is great but browsing is a problem to me. i can properly get 5 hours for browsing and 10 hours watching video.

what do you guys get for web browsing? do you think my battery has a problem?

Over wifi and using Dolphin the battery life is fine ime.

However, browsing over 3G seems to really hammer the battery. Never come even close to draining it in a day, the battery life is phenomenal, but there's a marked increase in the speed the battery life depletes over 3G.

The 3G is awesome on this though. I live in the UK, no sign of LTE here yet, but I can't say it bothers me since the HSPA+ speeds I experience with the Three network are astounding. Watched a load of footy with the Sky Go app flawlessy via 3G, same goes for BBC iPlayer.

I confess to buying an iPad 3 last week, that's my tablet of choice when I'm in the house, but the combination of size/portability, screen quality and battery life make the 7.7 a brilliant companion the moment I leave the house. Size alone makes it the clear winner in terms of mobility and ebook reading too. Can't knock the build quality of the 7.7 either, easily the equal of anything Apple have knocked out imo. My only criticism of it is Honeycomb really. Entirely usable but a bit....janky. Roll on ICS, but it's a pity it will be TouchWizzed to oblivion :(
