Hi kaffy!

Welcome to the forums :) but sorry for the bad luck. :(

These guys members here and we've not gotten any complaints on them - HTC Replacement Screens for HTC Screen Repair │ Repairs Universe

We're not affiliated with them but I'm hoping that they give you ideas on pricing.

As for any other damage - it's just one of those things. Depends on where your heel caught it and whether anything else was under it - some of the area under the screen is no big deal, others contain parts.

Best luck!

What ever happened to the Gorrilla Glass strength? I know someone who has their screen replaced at least 4 times and at every slightest drop the screen shatters. I don't think they replace your screen with Gorrilla Glass

GG is stronger in one way, but it's still glass and breaks easily if hit or stressed right.

I have an LG Optimus M and I've dropped it plenty of times without a case and all I have is little scuffs here and there.

Is it hard plastic on these phones?

It's like the more expensive your phone, the more fragile it becomes.

No, it's really like a random process of where the force of impact happened and how it gets mechanically transferred to the glass.

It doesn't matter how many times you have _not_ had a flat tire. Or what kind of car it is. Getting flats involves random processes, sharp objects and tires.

Same exact thing with Gorilla Glass because it's _glass_. ;) :)
