Root Band 12 update failed.

Hi all,

I have a Tmobile ZTE 970 Build Z970V1.0.0B22. The device is on stock, rooted with TWRP installed.

I followed the instructions in the stock rom thread. I flashed the stock rom and flashed the stock recovery zip.

I then tried to update the phone with the Tmobile Band 12 update. The update failed. I tried several times, but it always failed.

What can I do to update my phone to Band 12? Thank you for your help.

That is the OTA file the phone downloaded. I just put it in the SD for easier access. When I need to make an emergency call from a parking garage or from inside a building, or when I my child's school tries to reach me... That's why I care about band 12.

Band 12. So. You're back on an unrooted stock ROM? With a stock recovery? Right?

I downloaded the stockrom and stock recovery from MasterChielf's thread. Flashed those through TWRP based on the instruction- so theoretically - I should have a clean phone for the OTA update. But as you see in the pic, the error is "/system/bin/debuggerd Package mismtch"

Since I couldn't upgrade, I am still on Build Z970V1.0.0B22 stock 4.4.2 rom. Rootcheck said root is not probably installed - so I assumed that I am not rooted.

Well. Reroot. Reinstall TWRP. And wait till masterchief has the B.33 modem and stock ROM. And are you just trolling? I mean, the picture you have is a bonded naked anime girl.

Thanks for the reply man. I like this ZTE, but I think it will be my first and also my last ZTE due to the "unfriendliness".

"The picture you have is a bonded naked anime girl". Good one!

That unfriendlyness to rooting is with every manufacturer. Our problem is the lack of a HUGE dev community. And well. That basically sums up the picture
