Banned?

Trying to egg on mbell would be my guess. Yesterday they were both warned about bickering and such. Last night IOWA created like 10 topics with 5 or so bashing Apple, probly an attempt to lure in mbell. They are both probly on temp bans.

This post is pure speculation.
 
I figured that was probably the case, but I usually go look at the last few posts someone makes when I see they are banned (I'm nosy) and I didn't notice anything all that inflammatory. It just seemed odd.

I imagine there might've been some deliberation between mods before bans handed out... :)
 
I wouldn't mind both of them being back if they made a new "IOWA and mbell75 love session" forum...and no one could post in it but them. Ahh, hours of entertainment or torture...depending on how you look at it.

I've actually noticed a lot of newly banned users today.


I'm hoping that Iowa and mbell can more or less get past it and leave each other alone. I'm also hoping that the overall angry tone I've been seeing on the forum lately can go away. This is supposed to be fun, not an anger fest.
 
IOWA wasn't blameless, but mbell was clearly just a troll. He accused others of it but would get shitty when people said Apple sucked.
 
Thanks for the reply Shivers. I hope we can have a little more harmony across the whole forum. The fighting and attacking in all these threads for no reason is getting old.

Is it just me or did you guys delete some of IOWA's threads from last night? Also I saw one a few days ago where he linked a bunch of mbell's posts from other forums and it was gone pretty quick.

I enjoy thier bickering, but I can see how it would be a mod's nightmare.
 
It's a shame it came to what it did, but they both were asking for it IMO. They can deny it, but they both seemed to go out of their way to egg the other on.

Hopefully we can get back to focusing on helping each other with our Android devices, and some civilized off topic discussion, no matter how we feel about each other's point of view. :)

It sucks that it has come to this. I'm truly curious if anything could have been done to prevent this entire mess (more so than just ignoring each other).

This thread really should be deleted before they come back from their "vacation" though.

They can still read the forums, and probly are right now. I've seen banned members on other forums PM members to post for them. Some people take the internetz too serious.
 
not exactly sure why it's still being discussed after a mod made a post about it....i mean it is technically a staff issue/decision...

fwiw, I REALLY wish that Phases or Rob would take a look at installing AE DETECTOR, it's on vb.org, would prevent banned users from creating alts....
