Barcode checking app for eTickets

I'm after a really simple app that can scan a barcode (1D or QR) and check if it's in a list (excel or txt document) that can be saved on the phone.
The purpose in this is to check for valid tickets at an event.
Every app I've come across seems to be designed for a propriety ticket system, where as we have created our own tickets from scratch.
Any ideas?

Which is a barcode datalogging app that exports to excel. It's not proprietary to any one ticket or inventory system. It's an open source project.

This is just datalogging and recording. But if you need something actually check and validate the tickets, you might need to develop an app for that, which would be your "proprietary ticket system."

I know ticket sales are good and a deal on some good tickets always help. Just be careful on what you buy and where you buy from reading this article from the URL and its a new one where you buy a package and only one ticket is valid and the seating is in no mans land . you got it can't see nothing cause Marge Simpson just got the hair done and its blocking your view .
