Root Barnacle wifi tether not working

It always asks for super user permission, and then it says something like 'su needs to access hardware. make sure your device is rooted.'
\I have icarus 1.1 installed and even re-rooted with z4root to be sure. Any ideas?

Did you go into the Superuser app and give it superuser permission? It's the app with the Skull and Crossbones.

Wireless Tether worked great. Never tried Barnacle.

When I downloaded Barnacle Wifi Tether on Icarus 1.1 I had the same issue. I went into the SuperUser dropped permissions for Barnacle, then granted it permissions and I didn't get that error anymore.

i'm having the same issue. uninstalled and reinstalled barnacle, even rerooted my phone with z4 like mentioned above, also did what lennatron mentioned and stop and restart su access. any ideas?

I tried everything. Nothing worked. I was using wireless tether, but it was slow so i started using easytether again.
