Root Baseband unknown

Hey guys freshly rooted as of tonight, and just flashed the mr2 radio so I could run bamf 3.0 rc 4.9 and my base band shows up as unknown, is this because didn't flash the rom yet or what?

It may be. Do you have signal?

I know roms based on MR2+ are not backwards compatible with the MR1 radio so your current firmware may not be able to identify the radio as it is older than the radio. I would suggest flashing the rom to see if that brings back your baseband info.

Haha thanks guys! I figure I should also note just in case someone else does stumble into the same problem as I that it was because i didnt have a compatible rom running with it that it came up as unknown
