Ok... so I got a Droid 2 for Christmas and I've been reading that changing your baseband may help with reception problems. From what I understand you grab the baseband you want, name it update.zip, and stick it in the root of your SD card, then I should be able to use rom manager to install it. Problem is, I hit install, the phonehttp://www.droidforums.net/forum/# rebooted as if i just turned it off and back on again, and still has the same old baseband
Currently the phone has BP_C_01.09.07P but I was hoping to downgrade that to 01.43.01P, or any baseband that might get me better reception in the Tacoma, WA area. What am I doing wrong?
