Basic emulator questions

After downloading an emulator to my Note3, do I need to look for ROMs made specifically for an Android OR do you use the same ROMs for Android as you do for a Mac/PC?

To answer the OP's question, yes the roms are the same files. However using roms or bios that you did not dump from your own copy of the game/console is considered piracy. Our site has a very firm stance against piracy so please don't provide links on where to obtain these. Thanks. :)
 
1. How do you make your own ROM from a game?
2. Are you saying that it is still piracy if you own the game but didn't make the actual ROM?
