If someone posted about this already please disregard it but I just noticed that when I restarted my phone my battery went from showing as 30% before to 60% after. Anyone else notice this happen?
Im not sure if this is related but on the moto razor if you had 25% battery left and you rebooted the phone, the battery reserve kicked in and your phone would have 50% battery left. This could be the case with the droid.
this happens on my g1 as well. Sometimes, though, that "extra" battery life quickly dwindles and you're back to what it was pre-restart.
I think it might be a battery calibration issue. Not that old school "memory" issue, but that the phone may not be reading the battery level correctly either before the reboot, afterwards, or both.
