Hello,
I'm completey new to smartphones. I had a basic phone for over 8 years before my wife bought my a Galaxy s3. Here are some of my questions.
What apps can I disable/force? Also can I disable com.XXX.XXX apps? (some app don't like you disable)
I've already disable any emails, sync, samsungs, gps and google apps. And I know from reading that task killers are a No No.
What can I do to max my battery life out?
I've search the web for the pass 3 days, and can never get a clear answer beside disable mobile data, gps, sync, auto rotation, and wifi (if i'm not using it) I'm a bit afraid to use third party apps because I've read some have pop up ads.
Note: I've also drain my battery complete before changing it.
How can I lower device idle?
When I'm sleeping it seem to drain my battery 2-8% when i'm not using.
Are launcher battery killers?
My friends keep telling me to get "Jelly Bean" and it just another theme. My fear is that it'll eat my battery if I do so.
Sorry if some of these questions have been repeated over and over.
