Help Battery and Connectivity took a hit after ICS update. Anyone else have this problem?

Like I said, right after my ICS update, my battery has been depleting like crazy. I usually could last a full day with moderate use, but now I can't go more than 6 hours without a charge. I have two batteries, and both perform worse than they did on 2.3.

Also, my data has been going on and off constantly and cannot keep a consistent connection. data speeds are slower as well, I'm getting around 1-2 Mb/s, where I use to get 5-7Mb/s.

Also, something interesting has also been happening. For some reason, when I wake my phone it will say it is connecting to the sim card and will take about two minutes to reset. It will stay like this until I reset the phone. So I don't have any connection whatsoever.

Well, at least my phone is a lot smoother.
 
I don't know if it's necessary to do so, but have you tried a factory reset? I'm rooted so I don't have the update yet. I've read elsewhere that others were performing factory resets after the push and not having issues.
 
I haven't experienced any battery problems since the update, but I've also done a factory reset since then. :stupido2:
 
Most of the time, odd behavior after the ICS update is only fixable by a Factory Reset. Luckily, my daughter says her TB is working better than ever, so we haven't had to do one yet, but I did on my Bionic and it made a definite difference.
