Battery and email issues

First the battery. I have had the One X for 4 days now. FOr some reason today while charging the phone at the house, it seemed to get stuck on 70 percent charge. Then it slowly creeped to about 79 percent, but I didn't let it go further due to me leaving. The other issue is email. I setup my Hotmail and Yahoo emails through the native app. I would rather not use the apps. Now both will get messages but neither will send? I got from 5G to WiFi when I get home. Any suggstions?

battery issues are a known problem, unresolved by HTC as of today to the best of my knowledge. Try another charging cable see if it makes a difference, my last cable wouldn't connect data and had very sketchy charging (even though it was the original cable).

As for email, i suggest try to go to each of hotmail and yahoo support pages for manual setup of the email accounts. Go back to your phone, delete those accounts, and then re-setup them up, when you type in your email address and password, dont click on Continue, rather just click on Manual Setup, and do as instructed on the Yahoo! and the Hotmail webpages.
