battery app

hi,

my daughters archos 70 tablet battery run completely out and i could not get it to charge for days, finally it has charged back up i was wondering if there is a app that turns the device off at 10% left or something similer so i do not have this trouble again.

any help would be great, thanks in advance

I don't know of any app that does this...but I'm just curious, what's the point of this? You're pretty much juts killing your battery life by 10%? How old is your daughter? If she's old enough to be trusted with a tablet then she should be old enough to realize the battery is dying and plug it in. Or, if you're dead set on stopping use at 10%, turn it off when it hits that mark.

hi the point of the app would be turning the tablet of before the battery runs out and have trouble getting it charge again.

For some devices when a battery is completely drained it will not accept a charge, it will take an extreemly long time to charge, or will do a factory reset (my wife's droid this this). I can't think of any apps that would turn off the phone at a certian battery %. Any app that could would require root access.

hi yes this is what happens to the archos hence i thought there could be a app like this to help, will just keep googling to see if i come across anything

Why not just install a battery widget that shows battery percentage and your daughter can charge it when she sees power is running out?
