I have a Note 2. I got it new ( I think?) when I signed up with Tmobile like 6 months ago. About 2 months ago I noticed it is very slow to charge...wont be fully charged in 12 hrs. Other times though, when I plug in the charger, it will immediately jump to like 65 or 70%. Is there some trick to make this happen or is my phone just really confused? It seems to drain very quickly when this happens. When it takes forever to charge it seems to last longer or last like normal. My S4 I had died and never charged again and I'm afraid this is whats about to happen to my Note 2 as the process is very similar. Is this something that can be fixed with the wireless battery/ charger? Do they even make that for my old @$$ phone lol?

One thing that will hasten the death of a battery, and the Lithium-Ion batteries are NOT immune to this.

Allow it to run down to the bottom below 5% and you will shorten its' life span.

Keep it in the upper 60 percentile, and it will run forever and ever...

I have an alarm set for 40% which triggers a macro to Talk To Me: "Battery Low"

I try to get it back on the Qi charger pad asap and let it build back up.
I like the Qi charger, it is slower than the 2 amp module with the cable, does not heat up the phone or battery as badly as the higher amperage charge rates.

On the rare occasions I let the battery drop to 25% or less, I charge it for maybe an hour, and take it off and allow it to cool down, then later drop it back on the charger again. Temperature is a Death Nell to batteries.

. yesterday was the 1st time ever I almost ran my S5 to zilch.... caught away from home, and used it all day long.... ran it down to the point that the Samsung S5's Power Save Mode kicked in forcefully.... the screen was so dark I could not read it.... I just hit the Power Button and pressed on the screen where the "Power OFF" button usually is. took me 3 tries to get to that button, but I heard it power off..... left it off until I got home.
