Hello friends
Im sure every android user faces battery issues somewhere or the other. I have come up with a way which will help u save ur juice.
Of course the conventional ways of battery saving are already in place like switching off bluetooth, wifi, gps etc.
Besides this u need to control the android system to save ur battery.
1) Download ADVANCED TASK KILLER FROM MARKET. Install it.
2) Reboot your phone (reason being once on the system will show everything thats running)
3) Go to settings>applications>manage running applications
Tap to stop all applications except samsung/swype keypad(it wont give u the option to stop them) and any antivirus if u have installed.
4) Open Advanced task killer. You will find a list of processes running.
5) Add the following processes in ignore list by hard pressing on those processes.
advanced task cleaner
calendar storage
call settings
clock
daily briefing
device management
google search
google search (enhanced)
messaging
mobile tracker systems
antivirus(if any)
phone
samsung account
samsung keypad
settings
setup wizard
TwLauncher
Voice dialler.
There is no use killing them because they are gonna re run and drain your battery even more as they have to restart. If u find any other processes re running after some time after killing them then add them in the ignore list.
6) Rest of the running processes you can go ahead n kill them except the ones which u r currently using.
7) Keep a tab on whats running from time to time. For eg- If you are listening to music and once u are done listening to it or u wont be listening to it for some time say an hour, it would be a good practice to kill the music player app/process.
The basic fundamental is to kill tasks effectively rather than haphazardly killing tasks.
please note- do not use the auto kill feature...if ur confident about it then only.
I used to get 1 day backup before following this procedure and now I get 2 days. Hope this helps you too.
Happy Androiding!!!!!
