Root Battery calibration/testing?

Hey everybody - Here's my situation.

We all know how bad our Connects are when it comes to battery usage, right? While my phone was stock and un-rooted, the OEM BL-44JN battery would last only a few hours, even with light usage. So I bought a QCell 3850 mAh because I was fed up with having a dead phone after 4 hours of standby. The QCell is much better obviously, but I'm not liking the weight and depth it adds to the phone.

I just bought an OEM BL-44JH Motion battery to see if I could squeeze another hour or two of juice over the BL-44JN Connect battery. I'm now running the #2 (1.5) ROM. Here is what I found:

OEM Connect battery got almost a full day(!?) with light usage.

OEM Motion battery got 1/2 day with light usage.

Is there a solid method to calibrate each battery with the phone so I can determine which OEM battery works better? (seems batteries have good/bad days)

Also, any recommendations on an app I can use to monitor a battery? My OEM Connect battery was rarely used, since it took only a couple of weeks before I bought the QCell. Motion OEM battery is "new" according to ebay seller, but I just want to measure capabilities of both batteries!

Thanks!
