Root Battery Charge Fails

I just flashed CM 10.1 and my phone is functioning properly. Whenever I plug the usb cable to charge my phone, it reboots. After, my phone won't even charge properly. It keeps switching from charging to not charging and continuously does this back and forth. My battery percentage doesn't even go up either.

What USB cable are you using?

I've been using the same stock verizon cable this whole time.

And I am currently using an extended battery. When I switched to the stock battery, I don't run into this issue. I'm assuming it's a problem with my extended battery then? Why would this happen?

Did you have the stock battery in when you flashed? I don't use any other batteries so this is just a guess, might try dirty flashing with the extended battery in?

Micro USB cables do go out once in awhile. My OE plug had issues not even 4months after getting it. Try a different plug
