Help Battery charge issues

I drained my phone until it died like I normally do. I started charging and booted it up a bit later. It shows the bar charging fine, and it's going up, but on the about and status (battery level) its stuck on 57% and not updating at all. If I reboot it shows its gone higher and still charging, but I don't want to keep rebooting to see the real amount. It normally updates in real time

Anything I can do? Still on 57% . The charge normally takes 3 hours to get to 100% I probably have another hour to go. Stuck on 57% for ages and doesn't look like it will budge at all

ACE has always had a bad battery indicator, so its possible that it shows 100% even when its only 1%. When i charge my phone from 0, it instantly shows 100% the moment i plug in the charger, but i know from experience that this battery takes at least 1 hour to charge properly, so i always leave it for that much time and i get a good enough battery out of it.

For your case, its possible that your battery has died out and you need a replacement. Just try charging it for 2 hours if it still does not works then its a high possibility that you need a replacement.
If you have access to a similar battery then try it on, it should confirm whether the problem is in the battery or the phone.

@ayush29k Agree with you. My phone taks about max 1.5 hrs to fully charge, I wait for the battery full beep to go off then unplug. I also use 'Battery Notifier (Big Text) by Shkil/larryvgs'
