battery charge

[Android Question]

samsung 4, Sprint phone won't charge. Keeps saying to go into task manager but I don't see what there is keeping battery from charging. It takes hours.

If the battery is dead, the first 4-5 hours is ramp-up, not charging. Turn the phone off, plug in the charger and leave it for 24 hours. Then turn it on and see if it's charged.
