Battery charged notification

Why was there no battery charged notification sound installed on the samsung galaxy note? When I am charging it I have to constantly check to see if its charged. Whereas all samsung other phones as well as their tablets gives off a loud bleeping sound letting one know its fully charged. I would expect a hi-end device such as this would'nt be void of something this important.

Im sure that mine has it. I heard it chime when the battery was charged yesterday!

Mine has it too (it's not a loud sound, but loud enough to hear it when you're in the same room) and also displays "battery charged " notification on the locked screen.
