Battery Choices

I actually got an $8 cheapo battery that comes with a back cover (from ebay). It is supposed to be 3800mAh but is actually around 3200-3600mAh (Chinese batteries are notoriously over rated). Anyway it will last a whole day with net intensive apps running all of the time. And for $8 w/ free shipping...

I used to buy extended batteries but I'm more concerned with keepign a good case on my phone ( otterbox ) so extended batteries that fit in like stock are what I'm looking for

Search on ebay. They tell you which ones fit using the oem back cover. There are a couple.

i looked up the anker battery, but it has the same amount of mAh as stock battery? (doesnt really mind for extended battery)

The problem with and "extended capacity battery" that is the same size as the OEM battery, is that they have to make the components smaller and thinner. Making the plates that make up the cells of the battery thinner causes them to be more susceptible to damage and heat.

I bought an Andida 2300mAh battery off eBay. The battery fits into my phone with the stock back cover and I have it wrapped in an otterbox case. Battery life with it is noticeably better than the stock 1800mAh. 2300 may be the best you can get without an extended back cover, but dont quote me on that.
