What were the up time and awake time? (check Settings/About phone/Battery)

You didn't say what model phone you had or whether it had a full charge, but I'm guessing that an app has been installed that is keeping the phone awake.

Did you have Wi-Fi, mobile net, gps, or all of the above turned on?

Any one of these services can eat you battery in no time. Its one of the downfalls of Android phones right now. Even though their capable of all these things you have to baby sit you're phone like a 4 year old.

How often does FB, Weather and whatever else you have set to auto update does that occur? The more often an app updates the less time the phone is sleep / more data being pulled which equals less battery life.

For example I have weather update once an hour, FB to every four hours and news once a day.

I used to have the same issue.... I would carry a charger with me at all times. I even bought a 2nd battery and a battery charger that charges it when it's not in a phone.

However, I went through one night, deleted a bunch of apps I didn';t use. I also got rid of all the home launchers I didn't use (I had 7 of them I think) My problem, I think, was I had my widgets running on all of them. (ie- my fb app was on all 7 home launchers)

I kept launcher pro and of course my stock home launcher (the one with 3 screens) I put a phone, camera, sms, and inet shortcut (not widget) on that one and nothing else. my launcher pro is decked out.... Since then, my battery lasts 10 hours.... no kidding. I carry my spare battery, JUST IN CASE, but have no real need. I also don't carry my charger anymore.

at the same time, I installed juicedefender app.

so between the juicedefender, deleting apps I don't use/want, and delete the home launchers, I did something that fixed the problem. Just play around with it.

Spare battery cost me $10 and the charger cost another $10. can't remember the site though.

I had nothing runnging in the background and I set my FB to update 2 hrs. Maybe it's was just a freak thing that happened? I'll see how it goes today

Lately i've been having the SAME problem. I'd make a few (less than 10) calls per day of less than 5 minutes each and send a few texts and my battery would drain so fast. And I keep my wifi and GPS OFF, and screen low lit and my battery dies easily. I don't know what the problem is and I can't isolate it.
