Battery doesn't charge..!!

Guys..a major ussue with my phone..S3..it doesn't charge at all..it tkes it 4hrs fr 5%..its really annoying..have uninstalled all the major apps..factory reset..cache clean..ntn helped..any suggestions are invited.. please help me out

You might have a defective charger or battery. As mentioned above, try using another charger...and if problem persist, get a different battery.

Another way to test is to use the data cable plug into your PC and see if it charges, if it doesn't then I think a new battery.
 
What Denise51 said. BUT, also consider that it might be low voltage or whatever term would be properly used in the wall outlet. Try an outlet in a different part of your house (with the same charger), try it at a different house, etc. It's happened to me when I spent 2 nights at a cabin.

But yeah try the USB to PC method first before you buy a new charger/cable.
 
Hi Guys I had a problem with my S3.
I have 2 batteries, both would take about 2-3hrs to charge to about 15%. Then would discharge pretty quickly afterwards.

I tried new cables in various plugs and laptops with no luck and even a full reset.

I eventually fixed by booting the phone into safe mode. Once in safe mode the phone charged no problem as normal. Then once back into normal mode it continued to work fine.

I am not sure if this is unique to me or a genuine fix for this problem. Hopefully will help some people. Give me a quick reply if i works.

how do u boot into safe mode...sounds like a good idea
