Root Battery doesn't show charging properly?

I'm not sure what happened but the battery isn't acting properly. Since trying this kernal stuff again today, it's stuck on one percent, like 16, then it will drop to 15 while on the charger. I'll powerdown the phone and turn it back on it jumps to 30. and it stays on 30 on the charger. I wiped the battery stats twice now. ANy ideas?

try restarting battery stats in cwm. battery got weird for me once or twice while flashing different bckups and roms.

Yeah idk what is with the battery. Keeps draining fast. I'll put it to charge, charges slowly. So I powerdown, when I turn back on I mysteriously gain 40 percent. But on the charger it doesn't charge, in fact it drops, even when doing nothing. So I power off again, this time when I was at 1% so I charge up to 70, phone shuts down by itself, turns back on I have 90. I don't get it. I have restarted battery stats, more than once... will tethering cause this?

there's a battery calibration guide i'll go find it for you give me some time gotta get ready to go somewhere first...
