Battery Double for Android

Umm.. I read the description. What does this app actually do other than give a different display of battery status? It doesn't seem to (or have permissions to) actually do anything to increase battery life at all.

Also, this makes no sense to me at all:

- The total battery life is now split into two battery docklet views, each showing 50% of the total battery capacity.
- When the docklet on the left is half emtpy, it indicates that your device still has 75% of battery life in total.
- When the docklet on the right is half empty, it indicates that your device has only 25% of battery life left in total.

If each side equals 50% of the battery, when one side is empty, I should have 50% charge left, not 75%.
