My battery did not last longer than 4 hours this morning after I got my driod. I believe it's due to the following process:
Settings -> applications -> running services
I have a process called DownloadService which falls under Media Process: android.process.media
Any ideas what may be using this process? I've killed it about a dozen times to have it re-appear within seconds. I thought at first it may be due to exchange email and synching. I disabled email from pushing and it still runs.
I've also killed tasks using TaskPanel (from Market) and it is still running in the background.
I checked a friends Droid as well and he does not have that process running. So I believe this is the cause of my battery draining so quickly.
Any ideas?
