Battery Drain with Chrome

If I use Chrome and have 2 or 3 tabs open and then use the Home button to leave Chrome does Chrome continue to use any battery? If so how is best to properly exit Chrome?
 
Nah you dont have to exit. as far as i know, it will only use battery while loading a page :thumbup:
 
Okay, thanks. I know that on my PC some pages automatically update every x minutes does this also happen on the S3 with Chrome
 
I dont use chrome mate but i dont think any android browsers do that. Hopefuly someone more techy will know :)
