Battery Drain

Just got my Tab Pro 10.1 after I initially bought the tab 10.1 since I use it for work and the Tab 10.1 seemed a bit laggy. I spent the last 2+ years with original zoom so the Pro feels so fast. I do have one concern. It seems that the battery just continues to drain even as it sits idle. Is there anything I can do are there known apps that are doing this. Not a gamer and used for work stuff and surfing.

Try closing down open apps you are not using using the button left of the home button.

Screen brightness could be set low.

Occasionally power down the entire unit, and power up again. That should stop some background apps (if any) that do not run routinely.

These would be my feeble attempts.
