Battery Drain

I have a Galaxy S5 clone with an original galaxy S5 battery however it still drains relatively quickly. I installed an app called wakelock detector and it detected an app called jingbanglandlord and it woke the cpu 340 times in 3 hours. Can this be the cause of the drain. Is there a way to uninstall it as it seems to have come with the phone and cannot be uninstalled. I dont know if my phone is rooted and I dont wish to root it.

Thanks

Welcome to the forum :)

That app could be the cause of the drain, though how much time it held the phone awake for is probably more important than how often it woke it. If you can't uninstall (and if it's a system app you won't be able to without rooting) can you disable the app (Settings > Apps > All, find app and select "disable")?

It's worth noting that an S5 clone's battery life doesn't have to be at all the same as an S5's - the only similarity between the phones is cosmetic, and the internals will be utterly different. How quickly is it draining, and with what sort of usage?

OK, that means it's woken the phone 1256 times and kept it awake for a total of 11s. To me it doesn't sound like the main power drain.

if you look at "Usage" in the "Power" settings, what does it identify as the main power drains? Or you could try installing GSam Battery Monitor if you want more detailed power usage statistics.
