I got an update on my Samsung Galaxy s7 edge 2 days ago and ever since then my battery is only lasting approximately 3-4 hours. I have tried resetting my phone and I have let the phone battery completely die and fully charged it while off, but I continue to have the same problem. Is there anything I can do about this? Or can I reset the phone back before this update so that I won't continue to have this problem?

I would suggest that you try a 'Cache Partition Wipe' :-

It only takes a few minutes and doesn't affect your data or settings.
Incidentally, it is generally considered to be not kind to batteries to 'let them die'.
