Help Battery Draining Issues

I'm running the venir rom and I've been having battery problems. I started out the day with %100 battery and spent 30 mins browsing the internet it only went down to %95 which is normal, but I put my phone away and two hours it went down to $60 then 4 more hours it went down to %20.So obviously something was running in the background ,but I killed all my apps when it went down to %60 just be sure, but it kept dropping. anyone have an idea on what to do?

I would make a guess it has a lot to do with the "venir rom" you installed. Did you have the battery issues with the rom that came with your phone?

No, before I had no problems with my battery it just started when I got this ROM and there were no foreign apps installed..

What is the advantage of installing this rom? It seems this rom is not preforming very well. Can you revert back to the other rom?

yea, but this rom has amazing customization options and removes the annoying touchwiz. Would a custom kernal save any battery life?

I think i will just back out of this thread. Good Luck with the "amazing customization" options this rom provides.
