Battery draining

I'm away from cell towers but have WiFi. Why does my battery keep draining?

Though the radio that communicates with your router is more efficient than your 3G or 4G radio, it still takes power to operate and will drain your battery. If you are seeing uncommon drain you may have a wayward app that is the culprit. You might want to check in with the other users of your phone and see what is considered a normally battery drain for your phone to see if you have a problem.
