I just bought my Samsung Galaxy S3 5 days ago, brand new from a Telus store. I think I may have been screwed on a battery though.
It just seems to drain very quickly.
For example, I unplugged my phone this morning at 6am fully charged, and checked my text messages quickly. I then went to work and left the phone on the table, and came back home at 5:30pm and the phone had died. This was without anybody using it during the day.
When I had used it on Monday and Sunday I get about 2-3 hrs of straight use out of it before the battery dies. I had it on the maps/navigation in my car and it died 2.5hrs later. That's it.
This isn't normal I hope.
I haven't put much in the way of apps on yet (no time).
I've turned off some settings, such as continually trying to connect to WIFI, but that hasn't helped.
Any ideas? Or is the battery the issue and I should try and get Telus to give me a free battery?
