Help battery dying rapidly

wondering if anyone can help.
For the past two days my phone battery has been dying very quickly. I have not installed any new apps or changed any settings so I'm at a bit of a loss. Any tips or tricks would be appreciated.

If the battery is old, then it might be going through sloe death. You should use the power managing widget to minimize power consumption. You should also try and check the apps running on the background.
