Battery Heat

All of a sudden, my phone has been hot all day with a battery temp over 90. The battery is also draining really fast as a result. I haven't installed any apps today though so I don't know what the cause could be. Anyone?

Check what apps do you have running in the background & were you in a weak signal area all day forcing your phone to constantly search for a connection?

Well I may have found some explanation. I'd like some opinions though. It looks like this chart has some answers. From noon to one, I was in a poor reception area as I am everyday at that time. (Lunch in a building with metal roof) Then the reception seems to jump back up to normal. However, around 3, my reception dips again don't when I started to notice the problem with my battery heating up. But I was in an area where I usually have fine reception.

Could it be there was a temporary problem with a local tower? And could that cause the battery heat?

i think im experiencing that problem too.. in my scenario battery heats up to 100 F and the part where ear piece is located is very hot
