Battery Help

Got my new Nexus 7 on Sunday, charged until full both nights then turned the screen off all day, about 9 hours. Both days I've returned home to find the battery at 70% with the android os taking 85% of the battery usage.

Any idea what is doing this and how I can prevent battery usage when the tablet is not being used.

try desabling wifu while asleep. It could be done at Wifi list > right uper hand corner properties > advanced.

I've already got that set on 'never' so its not the WiFi...

try resetting it. see how it work without apps you install for a day, if you se an improvement, then it's some app draining your battery.
