Root Battery Icon Problem

Hello, just want to say thanks to all of your work here, from rooting to debloating, and all that good stuff. I come from an EVO which you know has a crazy amount of dev work I learned a lot by messing with that phone. I switched back to Metro because of the LTE and cost. Anywho, I guess I should get to my problem. I have changed my battery icon to the speedo gauge thru SystemUI.apk. That shows up ok. The problem with that is that it only goes in 5% increments and I included 0-100. The other problem is the charging icon. When I plug in my phone the stock charging icon animation shows up. I have tried changing all icons in the res folder (all drawable sub-folders) that had a battery icon and still can't get it to wok right. Last night I tried using UOT Kitchen, uploaded framework and systemui, but came back with SHTF. Can someone please help. I took some screenshots but can't uplaod yet. Thanks in advance.

The battery icon for ICS is located in the systemUI.apk not the framework-res.apk .

The only thing I did with framework was try to use UOT Kitchen. All the icons I changed were in systemUI.
