Help Battery is going down at a rspid rate

Hi all,
Been a while. Ever since updating the new prl 086 I'm on my battery life has been horrible to say the least. Charge was 100% in am @ 6 now I'm at 20% @ work "No phones" I surfed a bit on break, tested twice n that's it except for this. What gives???
No widgetlocker,basic appear(weather,music,ringtone) I got rid of lookout wouldn't stop running. Any ideas????

Try dialing *18,it's supposed to lock you in to the nearest tower,theoretically stopping your phone from searching for a signal & consequently saving on battery life.

How'd that help? Phones on auto all the time. Im not sure it's from searching for a signal. Is there any way to check? Also all windows are closed from browser.

Perhaps the PRL update was a coincidence in regards to battery drainage.

My next step would be to look at what's running(MENU>MANAGE APPS>RUNNING).

Also,go into your app drawer & open up the TASK MANAGER APP & put some of the apps that you don't need to be constantly running on the auto-end list.The selected apps will,I believe,shut down 2 minutes after the screen times out.
