Help battery issue idle

my phone losses a lot of battery when its in idle and no its not the 3g network cuz I have an app that turns it off why is my idle in 53 percent

Because the battery has spent 53% of its time in idle... If your battery percentage is dropping by a whole lot its nothing to be worried about.

yeah but about a week ago I used to go to school for 7 hours and I go fully charged and when I get back home my battery used to be in 93 and up percent I don't know why my phone is losing batter when the screen is off

If your on stock and unrooted, then that's not bad because stock isn't the best battery saver... And the reason that battery drains while the screen is off is because the cpu is still working, the radio is still working, as long as your in a good service area though it should be a slow drain. I can get vertually no battery drain with my phone in idle, but as soon as I wake it up, my battery begins draining like crazy (mainly cuz I always have my brightness up all the way, and use data). I really wouldn't worry about it unless you start losing more than that especially with data off...

I'm rooted and my battery was not draining like this before

Hmmm... well if you had data enabled that would be the problem since it would be updating periodically, but since you don't I don't think that is the problem unless its still trying to update with no data.

That might be why then. Time without a signal means during that time the radio is constantly looking for VMs (well technically sprints) network to be able to connect to it so it working harder and using more power...

i turned my phone of and i turned it back on yesterday and today its 10.20 am and i unpluged my phone at 7 am and its still in 100 percent:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

well that's only 3 hours not the 7 that you were talking about and whats your time without a signal? 0%?
