battery issue

now i know with a smartphone and or droid the battery kinda goes quick but when i check my battery meter it always has display as the main source and i have the lowest setting possible and just don't understand...i have the samsung fascinate...does anyone have anyone have any opinions that can help me out??? please i really need to figure this out...

Welcome to Android Forums.

Having the display as the primary power drain is normal. The displays on most smartphones draw a lot of juice, even at the lowest setting. With moderate use, you should be able to get a full day out of a charge.
